Pause for Prayer

Have you been thinking about your star word? Did you write anything about it? Do you still look at last year’s star or just this year’s? Or did you put them away and forget about them? Maybe you didn’t take a word. Hmmmm.

My word from last year was “tenderness” and this year it’s “equip”. Last year I thought about how to show tenderness. I tried to find tenderness in others. This year I will work to equip others in any way I am able. Look at your star word. If you don’t have one, get one. Thinking about it and making it a part of your life is a good thing.

Father, words are very powerful. Focusing on one word helps us to make it a part of our daily life. Focusing on Your Word gives us guidance. It teaches us how to live in Your light. Your Word is the biggest and best star word. Amen.
